HR Manager – Venture HR Lead

About the role

Nabat, a climate‑tech startup in the UAE, is looking for a senior HR Manager to act as the Venture HR Lead. This hands‑on individual contributor will own end‑to‑end people operations, from talent acquisition to payroll and compliance, in a fast‑paced venture environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define hiring plans, job descriptions and candidate criteria with hiring managers.
• Lead sourcing strategy, interview processes, offer negotiations and agency selection for specialist roles.
• Manage visa, immigration and PRO processes, ensuring Emiratization compliance.
• Approve payroll calendars, handle exceptions, final settlements and statutory issues.
• Oversee HR policies, employee queries, leave approvals and non‑standard case decisions.
• Coordinate onboarding handoff, maintain recruitment trackers and hiring reports.

Required profile

• Senior HR professional with hands‑on experience in talent acquisition, payroll and compliance.
• Familiarity with UAE labour law, visa and PRO processes.
• Ability to work independently in a high‑growth startup environment.
• Strong stakeholder management with hiring managers and external agencies.
