HR Officer - Construction Industry

About the role

A growing company in Dubai is hiring a proactive and experienced HR Officer for a full-time position. The ideal candidate has strong experience in HR operations in the UAE, preferably in the construction industry, with excellent knowledge of UAE Labour Law and employee lifecycle management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HR operations and employee administration, including onboarding, induction, documentation and offboarding.
• Maintain employee records, HR databases and personnel files.
• Monitor attendance, leave balances, absenteeism and payroll inputs.
• Prepare employment contracts, HR letters, salary certificates, warning letters and other HR documents.
• Coordinate visa processing, renewals, Emirates ID and labour documentation with the PRO.
• Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary procedures and HR policy implementation.
• Prepare end-of-service settlements, gratuity and leave salary calculations.
• Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law and internal HR policies, and support HR reporting, performance evaluations and employee engagement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of UAE HR experience, preferably in construction or main contracting companies.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law, MOHRE regulations, WPS and HR compliance.
• Hands-on experience in payroll coordination, leave management and end-of-service calculations.
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills; able to work independently and manage several HR tasks.
• Immediate joiners preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
• Experience with HR systems.
