HR Onboarding Officer

About the role

Target Engineering is looking for a highly organized and proactive HR Onboarding Officer to join its HR team. You will be responsible for delivering a seamless onboarding experience for new hires, ensuring they are fully integrated, compliant, and equipped for success from day one through the probation period.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the end‑to‑end onboarding process for all new employees.
• Conduct employee orientation and company induction programs.
• Ensure completion of all pre‑employment and onboarding documentation.
• Liaise with HR, IT, Administration, Payroll, and Project teams to prepare employees before their start date.
• Arrange IT equipment, system access, email accounts, ID cards, and office/worksite requirements.
• Monitor mandatory trainings, certifications, compliance requirements, and onboarding documentation.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires during onboarding and probation.
• Maintain onboarding trackers and employee records with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Identify and escalate onboarding issues or delays to relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare probation review schedules and coordinate feedback collection from managers.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to onboarding processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 48 months (4 years) of relevant HR onboarding or HR operations experience.
• Strong organizational and proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
