HR Specialist – Contingent Workforce Planning

About the role

The HR Specialist – Contingent Workforce Planning will be responsible for managing the data, reporting, and operational processes related to the contingent workforce at Emirates Flight Catering. This role ensures accurate headcount visibility, compliance, and cost‑effective workforce management.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and consolidate contingent workforce headcount data to produce timely reports on size and trends.
• Manage daily attendance records for contingent workers, ensuring accuracy for payroll and reporting.
• Oversee invoicing for contingent workforce services in partnership with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Review and analyse existing labour models, identify optimisation opportunities, and collaborate on implementation.
• Conduct regular analytics on headcount, costs, and utilisation to support data‑driven decisions.
• Ensure all contingent‑worker processes comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date database of contingent workers, including skills, availability, and performance history.
• Partner with department managers to understand staffing needs, facilitate selection, and ensure timely onboarding.
• Work with procurement and finance to develop strategies that meet budget and cost‑saving targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in contingent workforce planning, management reporting, or payroll management.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with high attention to detail.
