HSE Inspector

About the role

The HSE Inspector will ensure that all health, safety and environment (HSE) requirements are met on site, complying with local, legal and international standards. The role involves implementing HSE management systems, conducting daily inspections and guiding the workforce and subcontractors on safe practices.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with local legal, contractual and project HSE rules and communicate them clearly to all employees.
• Carry out daily site inspections, monitor high‑risk activities and enforce the use and maintenance of personal protective equipment.
• Implement and oversee risk assessments, permits‑to‑work and scaffold tagging systems.
• Guide waste‑management practices, including segregation, reduction, reuse and recycling of waste.
• Inspect fire equipment, plant and machinery, record conditions in the online system and report any violations.
• Provide safe access, housekeeping and appropriate safety signage in collaboration with the operations team.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of HSE experience, preferably with established contracting companies in the GCC.
• Basic safety qualification and ability to work in all weather and shift conditions.
• Strong knowledge of international HSE standards, operational hazards and control measures.
