HSE Officer – Abu Dhabi

About the role

We are looking for a qualified HSE Officer to join our Abu Dhabi based team. The role focuses on ensuring full compliance with UAE health, safety and environmental regulations across high‑rise construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, project HSE plans and site safety procedures.
• Implement Permit‑to‑Work (PTW) systems, LOTO, toolbox talks, risk assessments, PPE compliance and incident reporting.
• Conduct daily site inspections, safety observations and close‑out of unsafe conditions.
• Deliver toolbox talks, inductions and safety awareness training for site staff.
• Assist in hazard identification, method statements and incident investigations.
• Monitor safety of plant, equipment, lifting tools and PPE according to UAE requirements.
• Oversee site welfare, hygiene, first aid, emergency response and environmental compliance.
• Maintain HSE records, permits and inspection reports and support emergency drills.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• NEBOSH and/or IOSH certification.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in high‑rise building construction.
• Knowledge of DM COP, DDA regulations, NFPA standards and UAE construction laws.
• Familiarity with hazardous materials and safe handling practices.
