HSE Officer – Health, Safety & Environmental

About the role

Kazamer Tax Consultant is looking for a dedicated HSE Officer to join its Dubai office. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting a safe workplace, ensuring compliance with UAE health, safety and environmental regulations, and implementing effective HSE practices across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections, identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, company policies and industry standards.
• Organise safety training sessions, toolbox talks and awareness programmes.
• Investigate incidents, accidents and near‑misses and prepare detailed reports.
• Monitor proper use of personal protective equipment and promote safe work practices.
• Perform risk assessments and recommend preventive measures.
• Maintain HSE documentation, inspection records and compliance logs.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, fire drills and evacuation procedures.
• Collaborate with management to continuously improve health and safety performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as an HSE Officer or in a similar safety role.
• Strong knowledge of UAE health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA are highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation.
