HSE Team Lead – Offshore Island Project

About the role

KBR is seeking an experienced HSE Team Lead to oversee health, safety and environment activities for a high‑profile offshore island project in Abu Dhabi. The role will be based in the client‑proposed office and will support KBR’s commitment to sustainable, safe delivery of large‑scale oil and gas assets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all HSE site activities for the offshore island project, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
• Develop, implement and monitor HSE plans, procedures and risk assessments for a FEED/EPC scope exceeding US$1 billion.
• Coordinate with ADNOC and other stakeholders to align HSE standards across the project lifecycle.
• Conduct audits, inspections and incident investigations, driving corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Provide HSE guidance and training to multidisciplinary teams on‑site.

Required profile

• Minimum 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with at least 5 years on ADNOC projects.
• Proven experience on mega FEED/EPC projects (US$1 billion+), preferably in offshore or artificial island environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (mandatory).
• Preference for Arab nationals with relevant project experience.
