About the role
The HSSE Officer will enforce health, safety, security and environmental regulations across automotive sites in the UAE, focusing on risk reduction, compliance and emergency preparedness.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct daily site inspections, hazard tracking and corrective actions to reduce incidents.
- Lead fire safety, security verification and emergency evacuation exercises, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Maintain HSSE documentation, risk registers, certifications and incident reports, ensuring timely closure.
- Support training initiatives, toolbox talks and awareness campaigns with the HSSE Training & Awareness Executive.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field (e.g., engineering).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in HSSE or security roles.
- Accredited certifications such as firefighter, first aid, IOSH Managing Safety.
- Fluent in English and Arabic for regulatory communication.
Required skills
- Strong analytical and reporting abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer systems for documentation.
