Human Resources Specialist – Hospitality

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Specialist to lead HR operations within a hospitality environment. The successful candidate will manage recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance and HR administration to support business goals and foster a high‑performance culture.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for hotel and hospitality positions, including sourcing, interviewing, reference checks and offer management.
• Design and deliver onboarding and induction programs for new hires.
• Build and maintain positive employee relations, address grievances and resolve workplace conflicts.
• Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs and retention strategies.
• Coordinate annual and mid‑year performance appraisal cycles, set KPIs and track improvement plans.
• Maintain accurate employee records, issue appointment, promotion and separation documents, and manage attendance and leave data in the HRMS.
• Identify training needs, coordinate technical and behavioral training, and monitor development plans.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, company policies and support internal/external HR audits.
• Coordinate payroll inputs, administer benefits and insurance programs, and assist with compensation reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field (MBA/PGDM preferred).
• 5–6 years of HR experience, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Proven experience in hotel, resort, restaurant or hospitality group environments.
