Humanities Teacher – Start Jan 2027

About the role

Aldar Education is looking for a passionate Humanities Teacher to join its growing network of schools in Abu Dhabi, starting in January 2027. The role involves delivering engaging, play‑based learning experiences that inspire curiosity and support students’ academic, social and personal development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver Humanities lessons across the ability range, using the English/National Curriculum.
• Assess student progress, record data using Target Tracker and provide feedback to parents at conferences.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policy and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Contribute to curriculum action groups, organise resources and run weekly extracurricular activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Teaching experience with the English National Curriculum or UK National Curriculum.
• Ability to work under pressure, problem‑solve and commit to continuous professional development.

Required skills

• Target Tracker for student assessment data.
• CPOMS for communication with parents and safeguarding.
