HVAC Supervisor

About the role

The HVAC Supervisor will lead the installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of all heating, ventilation and air‑conditioning systems across guest‑facing and back‑of‑house areas of Banyan Tree Dubai. This role ensures that all equipment meets manufacturer specifications, safety standards and the property’s high‑quality hospitality requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the installation, alignment and connection of air handling units, fan coil units, chillers, package units, split units, exhaust and fresh‑air systems, pumps, cooling towers and ventilation equipment.
• Commission and test HVAC equipment to guarantee proper performance before hand‑over.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance, checking electrical connections, refrigerant levels, filters, belts, bearings, motors, valves, dampers, thermostats, sensors and control systems.
• Manage a team of technicians, schedule work, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Document all activities, report issues and coordinate with other hotel departments for seamless operations.

Required profile

• Minimum three years (36 months) of hands‑on experience in HVAC installation and maintenance.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams in a hospitality environment.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
• Attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
