HVAC Technician – Full-Time

About the role

The HVAC Technician will join the facilities team at Aloft Abu Dhabi, providing prompt maintenance and repair services to ensure guest comfort and operational efficiency. This full‑time position involves both preventive and corrective work across the hotel’s mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical‑room assets, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and pneumatic/electronic systems.
• Carry out minor carpentry, painting, drywall, and wood‑trim repairs, as well as lighting and filter replacements.
• Maintain inventory, requisition parts, and document daily activities for shift hand‑over.
• Apply lockout/tagout procedures before any repair work.
• Service interior and exterior landscaping, including sprinkler systems.
• Use basic computer interfaces to adjust air‑handler schedules and temperature settings.
