HVAC Technician

About the role

The HVAC Technician will provide professional, engaging, and friendly service to guests and owners while maintaining the resort’s building systems. The role covers routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and specialised pool and spa upkeep, ensuring all equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Perform minor and routine painting, plumbing, and electrical wiring tasks across the property.
• Inspect facilities and equipment to ensure compliance with operational standards.
• Schedule and execute repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment.
• Carry out preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes for HVAC units, pumps, electrical panels, fire alarm systems, and other critical assets.
• Maintain pool, spa, and related water‑treatment equipment, including filter replacement and sump pump cleaning.
• Conduct chiller yard rounds, booster heater/pump checks, PRV inspections, and generator servicing.
• Respond immediately to emergency situations such as fire alarms, water flooding, or gas alarms.
• Monitor energy consumption, perform monthly meter readings, and support energy‑conservation initiatives.
• Maintain clean and tidy plant rooms, record equipment readings, and ensure proper sign‑in/out of tools and equipment.

Required profile

• Previous experience in painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, or related maintenance is an asset.
• Highly responsible, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Enthusiastic self‑starter with strong initiative in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer‑service skills, with proficiency in English (verbal & written).
• Flexibility to work varied hours and stand or walk for extended periods.
