HVAC Technician

About the role

Join JW Marriott Marquis Dubai as an HVAC Technician, responsible for ensuring the hotel's heating, ventilation, air‑conditioning and refrigeration systems operate efficiently and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, repair and maintain HVAC, air‑quality control and refrigeration equipment, including boilers, chillers and air handling units.
• Test and record water quality in boiler and condenser systems, adding chemicals as needed to prevent corrosion.
• Activate valves, adjust combustion air and control fuel flow to maintain proper boiler operation.
• Carry out minor plumbing and mechanical works for HVAC equipment.
• Monitor BMS terminals, switches, valves, gauges, alarms and safety devices to detect leaks or malfunctions.
• Maintain a clean, safe engineering area and coordinate with other engineering staff.
• Participate in energy‑conservation programmes and departmental meetings.
• Document all work performed and act as a member of the hotel emergency response team.

Required profile

• Ability to work onsite in a fast‑paced 5‑star hotel environment.
• Commitment to safety, fire training and adherence to LSOP and SOP guidelines.
• Willingness to support guest hospitality standards and participate in TQM processes.
