HVAC Technician

About the role

Apt Resources is recruiting an HVAC Technician for a client, a well-established Facility Management Company that is part of a larger group of companies in Dubai. The technician performs preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of HVAC systems so they run efficiently and reliably across the assigned facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, service and repair split, VRF and chilled water-based HVAC systems.
• Identify technical faults and carry out repairs to minimise equipment downtime.
• Monitor system performance and ensure proper functioning of HVAC equipment.
• Handle installation, servicing and replacement of HVAC components when required.
• Follow maintenance schedules and complete work orders within the required timeframe.
• Maintain maintenance records and report technical issues to the HVAC Supervisor.
• Follow health, safety and environmental regulations during maintenance.
• Coordinate with other maintenance team members to keep facility operations running smoothly.

Required profile

• Diploma or technical certificate in HVAC, refrigeration and air conditioning or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of UAE experience as an HVAC Technician.
• Previous experience in the Facility Management industry is required.
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow maintenance instructions.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Required skills

• Familiarity with split, VRF and chilled water-based HVAC systems.
• Hands-on troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of HVAC equipment.
• Understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
