Hydrogeologist

About the role

KN International is seeking an experienced Hydrogeologist to lead groundwater investigations and hydrogeological assessments for infrastructure and development projects in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct groundwater investigations, borehole and aquifer assessments, and monitoring programmes.
• Analyse groundwater levels, quality data, and hydrogeological conditions.
• Prepare hydrogeological models, technical reports and recommendations that comply with UAE regulations.
• Assess groundwater flow, recharge, discharge and de‑watering requirements for construction activities.
• Coordinate with geotechnical, geological, environmental, civil and other multidisciplinary teams.
• Review technical studies, drawings, specifications and consultant reports related to groundwater.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Geoscience, Environmental Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in hydrogeology and groundwater studies, preferably on infrastructure or development projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE environmental and groundwater regulations.
• Proficiency in hydrogeological, GIS and modelling tools, and technical report writing.
