ICT Teacher (Computer Science) – Full‑Time

About the role

Our Own English High School in Al Ain is seeking a qualified ICT (Computer Science) Teacher to join our full‑time faculty. The successful candidate will deliver a CBSE‑aligned curriculum, inspire students in both theoretical and practical aspects of computing, and contribute to a vibrant learning community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons in line with the CBSE framework.
• Develop and update curriculum resources, projects and assessments.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
• Collaborate with the ICT department and other faculty members to ensure cross‑phase coherence.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and technology‑rich classroom environment.

Required profile

• Masters or Bachelor of Science in Computer Science plus a Bachelor of Education (mandatory).
• Minimum two years of experience teaching Computer Science.
• Experience with the CBSE curriculum is preferred.
• Creative, enthusiastic and able to motivate learners both inside and outside the classroom.
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Good command of English.
