Image Editor (Photoshop & Lightroom)

About the role

Hitech, an integrated engineering consulting and business process solutions organisation, is looking for an Image Editor. The editor interprets editing specifications, applies changes to images using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom to match client expectations, and delivers within quality, productivity and SLA KPIs. Morning shifts are required, with flexibility for shift changes, weekend and Indian holiday work.

Key responsibilities

• Review rejections and corrections from the client and make the appropriate modifications
• Pick up bookings from the FTP server or cloud storage, or as assigned by supervisors
• Check files against the guidebook, rules and naming standards
• Perform image retouching and editing steps in Photoshop and Lightroom
• Identify and report imperfections in the source images
• Submit finished images to the supervisor or customer as specified

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in any field
• Certification or training in graphic design, or a multimedia course
• Openness to learning new tools and technologies, and willingness to work weekends and holidays
• Workable English to ask questions and understand client expectations

Required skills

• Adobe Photoshop (intermediate) for advanced editing and retouching
• Adobe Lightroom (intermediate) for visual enhancements and corrections
• Experience editing real estate photos is a plus
• Understanding of photography and image composition
• File management via FTP servers and cloud platforms
• Basic MS Office skills (Excel and Word)
