In-Store Digital Specialist – Retail

About the role

The In‑Store Digital Specialist will enhance customer experiences and improve coworker efficiency by managing and optimizing digital solutions within IKEA stores in Dubai. Acting as the bridge between physical retail operations and digital platforms, you will ensure seamless implementation of tools such as kiosks, digital signage, and mobile selling aids.

Key responsibilities

• Own and operate in‑store digital assets including kiosks, assisted‑selling tools, digital signage and mobile applications.
• Monitor performance using KPIs, identify gaps and deliver actionable insights.
• Prepare stores for rollout by creating SOPs, delivering training and providing post‑launch support.
• Drive omnichannel integration to connect physical touchpoints with online channels.
• Support marketing automation and AI‑driven initiatives to boost engagement and conversion.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to maintain and enhance digital solutions.

Required profile

• Strong documentation and training abilities.
• Analytical mindset focused on continuous improvement.
• Experience working with digital solutions in a retail or omnichannel environment.
• Understanding of customer journeys across physical and digital touchpoints.

Required skills

• Familiarity with in‑store technologies, APIs, CMS and analytics tools.
• Hands‑on experience with web and mobile technologies.
• Experience supporting AI or data‑driven projects.
