Inclusion Assistant for Primary School

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking an Inclusion Assistant to support pupils at Al Rayana Charter School, an American‑curriculum primary school in Abu Dhabi. The role begins in August 2026 and involves helping students with diverse learning needs to fully participate in classroom and school activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to pupils, both inside and outside the classroom, aligning with individual education programmes (IEPs).
• Assist teachers with preparing differentiated resources, maintaining pupil records, and monitoring progress.
• Promote independence by teaching clear strategies and supporting social, communication, and behavioural development.
• Collaborate with specialists such as speech therapists, occupational therapists, and ABA therapists.
• Participate in health‑and‑safety duties, training sessions, and school events, including trips and extracurricular activities.

Required profile

• Minimum SEN qualification – Diploma.
• At least 2 years of experience working with special educational needs students.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively with teachers, specialists, and families.
• Professional demeanor regarding dress, punctuality, and attendance.
