Inclusion Assistant – Immediate Start (UAE Nationals)

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking an Inclusion Assistant for Abdulla Bin Otaiba Charter School in Abu Dhabi. The role supports UAE national pupils with additional learning needs, ensuring they can fully participate in classroom and school activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide support for individual pupils, both inside and outside the classroom, to enable full participation in school activities.
• Assist in implementing and monitoring individual education programmes (IEPs) and track progress toward goals.
• Prepare and adapt resources to differentiate the curriculum for identified students.
• Promote independence by teaching clear strategies and supporting social, communication, and behavioural development.
• Maintain pupil records in collaboration with homeroom and subject teachers.
• Work alongside speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other specialists as needed.
• Attend training sessions, professional meetings, and school events such as trips and extracurricular activities.
• Uphold health and safety standards, school policies, and serve as a positive role model for punctuality and attendance.

Required profile

• UAE National with a minimum SEN qualification and a secondary school certificate or bachelor's degree.
• At least 1 year of experience working in UAE schools.
• Proficiency in English (or the language used in the school curriculum).
