About the role
The Income Auditor is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing cash transactions, and ensuring compliance with company policies. This role supports the finance team by preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and handling vendor invoices.
Key responsibilities
- Record, store, and analyze computerized financial information.
- Classify, code, and summarize numerical data using journals, ledgers, and accounting software.
- Verify the accuracy of figures, postings, and supporting documents.
- Prepare, audit, and distribute financial, accounting, and payroll reports.
- Complete period‑end closing procedures and generate related reports.
- Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements.
- Document and resolve cash variances, manage cashier banks and contracts.
- Follow up on past‑due accounts and vendor invoices until resolved.
- Prepare daily consolidated cash deposits from all cash‑handling staff.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and adhere to company policies.
Required profile
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Physical ability to lift objects up to 10 pounds.
