Industrial Engineering Faculty Position

About the role

The Higher Colleges of Technology seeks an experienced faculty member to deliver instruction in Industrial Engineering and related subjects to second‑language learners. The role involves teaching, research, advising, and active participation in college and community activities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver applied, student‑centered instruction in line with course syllabi and program goals.
• Develop and use educational technology resources to enhance learning.
• Assess student progress through tests, projects, assignments and provide timely feedback.
• Serve as academic advisor, mentor students during internships and monitor at‑risk learners.
• Conduct applied research aligned with national innovation priorities and present findings at conferences.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline, or a Master’s with professional certification and at least 5 years of combined teaching and industry experience; a Bachelor’s may be considered with extensive industry credentials.
• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience and 3 years relevant industry experience, preferably with curriculum development and use of educational technology.
