Industrial Hygiene Team Lead

About the role

The Industrial Hygiene Team Lead will be based at the Bureau Veritas Technical Center Middle East in Abu Dhabi, overseeing the delivery and growth of industrial hygiene services across the Middle East, Caspian and Africa regions. The role combines office‑based strategic work with occasional on‑site field assignments and travel.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and expand the industrial hygiene business across the region, working with local offices to market services, develop new offerings and build partnerships.
• Collaborate with regional management on tender management, providing both technical and commercial input.
• Mentor and supervise the IH team in the execution of projects, including desktop studies and on‑site field work.
• Facilitate OHID workshops and act as the technical authority, reviewing and approving technical reports, exposure assessments, monitoring plans and risk assessments.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience leading industrial hygiene services in oil, gas, petrochemical or energy sectors.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene or a related discipline.
• Must hold a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH®) or Certified Occupational Hygienist (UK, BOHS) credential.
