Industrial Technical Consultant

About the role

The Industrial Technical Consultant provides technical consulting services leveraging Nalco Water’s intellectual property to support sales and improve customer operations in water and process applications.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site audits of water and wastewater plants, produce technical reports and present findings to customers.
• Collaborate with sales, application engineers, marketing and RDE to identify new product opportunities, develop value documentation and support commercialization.
• Provide product and sales training, track product margins and assist in strategic market planning.
• Develop case studies, participate in industry seminars and maintain up‑to‑date technical knowledge of water treatment technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, biotechnology or a related science.
• Strong background in water treatment chemistries and applications, with experience troubleshooting water and wastewater plants.
• Agile, self‑driven and results‑oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally.
