Information Security Consultant – Cybersecurity Specialist

About the role

The United Al Saqer Group (UASG) is seeking an experienced Information Security Consultant to join its ICT Department. You will provide expert guidance on security strategy, risk assessment, policy development, and implementation of solutions that protect the organization’s data, systems, and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and operate security tools such as SIEM, EDR, PAM, DLP, IDS/IPS to detect, analyse, and respond to threats.
• Lead incident response, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct threat hunting across network assets, email gateways, and cloud services.
• Run vulnerability scans, coordinate penetration testing, validate findings and drive remediation.
• Provide security architecture advice, design secure network and system configurations, and enforce encryption standards.
• Secure multi‑cloud environments (Azure, Microsoft 365) with logging, encryption, and DevSecOps practices.
• Implement and manage IAM and PAM solutions, conduct privilege audits and access reviews.
• Support Zero Trust adoption and embed security into the SDLC.

Required profile

• Proven experience in security operations, threat management, and security architecture.
• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and cybersecurity standards.
