Information Security Manager – UAE (Emirati Applicants)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Manager to lead governance, risk management and compliance for our organization in the United Arab Emirates. The role requires deep knowledge of UAE laws, Abu Dhabi government security requirements and NCEMA standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement information security strategies, policies, procedures and controls.
• Oversee compliance with UAE legislation, Abu Dhabi government requirements and relevant assurance frameworks.
• Lead security risk assessments, audits and remediation plans.
• Manage security monitoring, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing and incident response.
• Handle data protection, access controls, cloud security and third‑party security risks.
• Coordinate cybersecurity resilience, disaster recovery and business continuity aligned with NCEMA requirements.
• Manage security providers, deliver employee awareness programmes and report risks to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in information security and 3 years in a leadership role.
• Practical experience applying UAE cybersecurity, data protection and Abu Dhabi government security requirements.
• Strong background in security governance, risk management, audits and incident response.
• Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM or equivalent.
• UAE government or regulated‑sector experience is a plus.
