Information Technology Auditor

About the role

The Information Technology Auditor will evaluate the effectiveness of Albatha Group’s IT governance, cybersecurity, data integrity, and control frameworks across its subsidiaries. You will work closely with audit supervisors and business units to identify gaps, recommend improvements, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Scope and plan audits covering IT General Controls (ITGC), application controls, cybersecurity, data governance and IT projects.
• Perform ITGC testing – access management, change management, operations, backup & recovery, and SDLC.
• Evaluate ERP application and database controls, including SAP S/4HANA.
• Test interfaces, data migrations and automated controls.
• Review cybersecurity processes such as incident handling, vulnerability management, patching and log monitoring.
• Assess IT governance maturity using COBIT, ISO frameworks and evaluate cloud security configurations (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Prepare detailed working papers, audit findings with root‑cause analysis and actionable recommendations.
• Present results to audit managers, track remediation actions and validate issue closure.
• Support advisory engagements on system implementations, infrastructure upgrades and digital transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting or related field.
• Professional certification preferred: CISA, CRISC, CISM, CISSP or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.
• 3‑5 years of experience in IT audit, risk management, cybersecurity or IT governance, preferably with a Big 4 firm or a Middle‑East multinational.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA, databases, operating systems and major cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with COBIT, NIST CSF, ISO 27001 and ITIL frameworks.
