Information Technology Engineer

About the role

Hameem Technologies is seeking a hands‑on Information Technology Engineer to own and operate its entire IT infrastructure, including network, servers, cloud services, endpoints, email, collaboration platforms and security controls. The role is critical for maintaining availability and protecting sensitive, export‑controlled information.

Key responsibilities

• Build, maintain and document the company’s network, servers, cloud services, email and collaboration platforms for reliable daily operation.
• Keep systems patched on a disciplined schedule, run backups, verify restorability and test recovery procedures.
• Monitor capacity, performance and licence usage, flagging needs before they become interruptions.
• Implement and maintain security controls such as endpoint protection, access management and secure configuration.
• Execute strict onboarding/off‑boarding processes with HR to ensure access matches employment status.
• Provide courteous day‑to‑day IT support, maintain accurate asset and licence registers, and manage vendors and service contracts.

Required profile

• UAE national (Emirati) with a bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of hands‑on IT infrastructure and support experience, preferably as a sole or small‑team function.
• Experience in government or security‑sensitive environments is a strong advantage.

Required skills

• Network administration and troubleshooting.
• Server, cloud and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Endpoint security, access management and patching discipline.
• Backup and recovery management with verified restores.
• IT asset and licence management.
• Professional certifications such as CompTIA Network+/Security+, Microsoft, Cisco CCNA or equivalent (preferred).
