Information Technology Network Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Information Technology Network Engineer to manage and maintain our IT infrastructure in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on ensuring system reliability, network security, and efficient operation while providing support to end users.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and IT systems.
• Monitor system performance to guarantee high availability and reliability.
• Manage LAN/WAN infrastructure, firewalls, switches, and routers.
• Administer Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms.
• Enforce network security through firewalls, antivirus solutions, and access controls.
• Perform system backups and develop disaster recovery plans.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Provide technical support to end users and resolve IT tickets.
• Maintain documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures.
• Manage cloud services such as AWS or Azure when applicable.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in IT systems and network administration.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
• Experience with Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization technologies (VMware or Hyper‑V).
• Hands‑on experience with firewalls and network security tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
