Infrastructure Deployment Engineer (AI Factory Delivery)

About the role

Sharon AI is seeking an Infrastructure Deployment Engineer to join its UAE Delivery squad. You will be responsible for deploying, testing and automating the GPU‑based cluster infrastructure that powers AI Factories, ensuring rapid and reliable delivery for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and configure Kubernetes and/or HPC schedulers (e.g., Slurm) from build to handover.
• Provision GPU nodes with locked OS images, firmware, drivers and validate PCIe, NVLink and GPUDirect.
• Configure server management controllers via Redfish or IPMI and perform burn‑in diagnostics (DCGM, HPL, storage throughput).
• Automate server provisioning, OS/firmware updates and test execution, maintaining code in version control.
• Generate and maintain accurate host configuration and inventory records.
• Instrument automation timing, analyse delays and improve playbooks.
• Prepare handover documentation, runbooks and support Operations during the hyper‑care period.

Required profile

• 4–8+ years of experience in infrastructure, systems, platform or SRE engineering.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting at scale.
• Experience with GPU‑based systems and high‑performance workloads.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
