Infrastructure Support and Monitoring Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Infrastructure Support and Monitoring Engineer to join our Abu Dhabi team. The role involves providing technical support for servers, networks, storage and related services, while continuously monitoring performance, availability and capacity to ensure business continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support and administration for servers, networks, storage systems and infrastructure services.
• Monitor infrastructure availability, performance and health using enterprise monitoring tools.
• Investigate and resolve incidents, alerts and service disruptions within agreed SLAs.
• Perform first‑line and second‑line troubleshooting for server, network and infrastructure issues.
• Support Windows and Linux server environments, including routine maintenance and patching.
• Manage incidents, service requests and escalations through ITSM platforms.
• Analyze performance trends and recommend improvements for reliability and efficiency.
• Monitor capacity and utilization to ensure resources meet business needs.
• Support backup, disaster recovery and business continuity activities.
• Collaborate with network, security, cloud and application teams to resolve complex issues.
• Participate in on‑call support and incident response as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in infrastructure support, system administration, NOC or technical support.
• Hands‑on experience with Windows Server and/or Linux environments.
• Familiarity with IT Service Management tools such as ServiceNow, Jira Service Management or Remedy.
