Innovation & Partnerships Manager

About the role

The Manager, Innovation & Partnerships leads the creation and delivery of cutting‑edge initiatives that transform retail fuel, convenience and mobility experiences. This role bridges business, technology and external partners to accelerate adoption of AI, digital platforms and emerging technologies while ensuring commercial impact.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an innovation roadmap, prioritising AI, automation, robotics and digital platforms for retail and mobility.
• Lead pilot programmes, proofs of concept and scale successful solutions into operationally viable offerings.
• Manage end‑to‑end strategic partnerships, from due‑diligence to performance monitoring and value realisation.
• Drive retail media and data‑monetisation initiatives, collaborating with marketing and commercial teams.
• Build detailed business cases, track ROI and report on innovation performance.
• Contribute to governance frameworks, knowledge sharing and coaching of junior team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, STEM, Business, Technology Management or related field; MBA or postgraduate qualification in Innovation or Digital Transformation preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in innovation management, digital transformation or partnership roles, preferably in retail, energy or mobility sectors.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale digital initiatives and leading multidisciplinary teams.
