In‑Room Dining Waiter/Waitress (Full‑Time)

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated In‑Room Dining Waiter/Waitress to join the Food & Beverage team at Sofitel Dubai The Palm. The successful candidate will take orders, deliver meals to guest rooms, and ensure a high standard of service and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders from guests via phone or in person.
• Deliver food and beverages to guest rooms promptly, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
• Set up and clear dining areas in guest rooms, maintaining cleanliness.
• Handle guest complaints or special requests professionally.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu, including specials and dietary needs.
• Process guest payments and handle cash or credit‑card transactions.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Ensure proper setup of trays, carts, and room‑service equipment.
• Restock and replenish room‑service items as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the room‑service area.
• Assist with preparing condiments, utensils, and beverages for service.
• Encourage guest feedback and ensure satisfaction.
• Uphold hotel safety, hygiene, and food‑safety standards.

Required profile

• Prior experience in food service (room‑service experience preferred).
• Strong customer‑service and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Knowledge of food and beverage offerings.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
