Instructional Design & Digital Learning Specialist

About the role

EFS Facilities Services is seeking a creative, hands‑on Instructional Design & Digital Learning Specialist to develop engaging, scalable learning solutions for its professional and functional workforce. The role focuses on converting business knowledge, policies, and processes into structured digital and blended learning experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct learning‑needs analysis and translate business requirements into clear learning objectives and measurable outcomes.
• Design and develop interactive eLearning, microlearning, videos, simulations, assessments and other digital assets using Articulate Storyline, Rise 360 or comparable tools.
• Produce LMS‑ready, SCORM‑compliant content and maintain version control of source files and published versions.
• Collaborate with SMEs and functional SPOCs to gather, validate, and obtain approval for course content.
• Utilise Generative AI to support storyboarding, instructional writing, scenario creation and content adaptation, while reviewing AI‑generated material for accuracy and confidentiality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning & Development or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in instructional design, eLearning development or learning experience design for corporate audiences.
• Proven ability to work independently with SMEs and business stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of adult‑learning principles and instructional frameworks such as ADDIE, SAM or Bloom’s Taxonomy.

Required skills

• Hands‑on proficiency with Articulate Storyline and/or Rise 360.
• Experience using Canva, Vyond, Camtasia, Synthesia, Adobe Captivate or similar multimedia platforms.
• Knowledge of LMS platforms and SCORM‑compliant content publishing.
• Ability to create instructional storyboards, facilitator decks, job aids, infographics and scenario‑based learning experiences.
