Instructional Designer – Learning Content & E‑Learning

About the role

As an Instructional Designer, you will create, curate, and manage learning content across multiple platforms and mediums. The role ensures that all materials are accurate, engaging, and aligned with Amazon’s goals and brand voice.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a content strategy that supports organizational objectives.
• Create high-quality, engaging content for channels such as websites and newsletters.
• Edit and proofread content to guarantee accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
• Collaborate with subject-matter experts and stakeholders to gather information and validate content.
• Design and develop instructional materials, including e-learning modules, job aids, and training manuals.
• Apply adult-learning theories and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to craft effective learning experiences.

Required profile

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or as a trainer managing classroom learners.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, Ruby or Perl.
• Proficiency with design tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Strong understanding of adult-learning principles and instructional design models.
