Instructor I, Electronics & Armament

About the role

The Instructor I will deliver Levels I, II and III technical training in Electronics and Armament for AL TAIF TECHNICAL SERVICES LLC at the General Maintenance Corps training school. The role ensures training complies with ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards and supports a safe, healthy working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce all safety and security rules, policies and directives.
• Advise the Chief Instructor on course development, delivery, and student performance.
• Deliver classroom and workshop training for UAE Army personnel on Electronics and Armament subjects.
• Design, develop and analyse courses using the Systems Approach to Training (SAT).
• Prepare and deliver operator courses and technical evaluations for GMC technicians.
• Utilise coaching and remedial training methods to maximise graduation rates and test scores.
• Maintain equipment, supplies and instructional materials, ensuring they are accounted for and in good condition.
• Attend conferences and workshops to stay current with instructional techniques and training technology.

Required profile

• A degree in a relevant field (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Minimum four years’ experience as an instructor in logistics or general subjects.
• Two years’ military experience is an advantage.
• Experience applying the Systems Approach to Training (SAT) is beneficial.
• Strong writing ability for studies, briefings or doctrinal literature.
• Ability to conduct analysis and develop performance‑oriented lesson plans.
• Valid UAE driver’s licence (or ability to obtain one).
