About the role

The university seeks an experienced instructor to teach practical Digital Media courses, covering content production, writing, editing, and storytelling across digital platforms. The role involves guiding students to develop professional digital media skills and preparing them for the evolving labor market.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver practical courses such as Digital Content Production, Social Media Journalism, Mobile Journalism, and Digital Storytelling.
• Integrate emerging technologies and software to create cohesive digital content.
• Train students in audience analysis, platform selection, message crafting, and performance measurement.
• Contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance, and academic accreditation documentation.
• Build partnerships with local media organizations for field training and professional networking.

Required profile

• PhD in Strategic Communication, Crisis Communication, Corporate Communication, or a closely related field.
• Minimum three years of university teaching experience.
• Commitment to updating curricula in line with digital platform advancements.
• Ability to prepare course files, CLOs, and align assessments with learning outcomes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital cameras.
• Proficiency with audio recording devices.
• Experience using digital content production software.
• Strong competence in using information technology and digital tools for teaching.
