Instrument Calibration Specialist – Laboratory Technician

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Instrument Calibration Specialist to independently manage and operate a dedicated calibration laboratory supporting major Oil & Gas and ADNOC projects in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a calibration laboratory for pressure, temperature, flow, level, and control‑valve instruments.
• Perform hands‑on calibration using HART, smart instrumentation, loop checking and troubleshooting techniques.
• Utilise calibration equipment such as Fluke, Beamex, Druck/Baker Hughes, Emerson, Yokogawa, and WIKA.
• Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, maintain calibration traceability, and record As‑Found/As‑Left data.
• Maintain measurement standards and support project teams on ADNOC and other GCC oil‑&‑gas sites.

Required profile

• 12+ years of instrumentation/calibration experience.
• 5+ years in a senior calibration or laboratory supervisory role (preferred).
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, Process Control or related field.
• Extensive experience in oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, LNG or EPC environments.
• Prior work on ADNOC, UAE or GCC projects is highly preferred.

Required skills

• Pressure, temperature, flow, level and control‑valve instrument calibration.
• HART protocol and smart instrumentation expertise.
• Loop checking and troubleshooting of field instruments.
• Proficiency with Fluke, Beamex, Druck/Baker Hughes, Emerson, Yokogawa, WIKA equipment.
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025, calibration traceability and measurement standards.
