About the role

The Instrument Jobs Instructor will design, deliver and manage on‑the‑job training programmes for junior and senior UAE national trainees. The role supports the school’s strategic Emiratization goal by building technical competence that enables nationals to replace expatriate staff in critical instrumentation functions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing the annual training plan, reviewing proposed courses to ensure alignment with instrumental training objectives.
• Create and update on‑the‑job training (OJT) programmes for instrumentation functions, based on operational needs and personal development plans.
• Prepare training schedules, organise learning resources such as technical manuals, drawings and procedure documents.
• Deliver classroom and field training on new technologies, equipment and process units to existing staff and new hires.
• Provide one‑to‑one coaching to technicians and engineering trainees to resolve technical issues while ensuring compliance with HSE policies.
• Conduct refresher sessions for established technicians to maintain skill levels.

Required profile

• UAE national with a background in instrumentation or related engineering disciplines.
• Proven experience in delivering technical training or on‑the‑job instruction.
• Strong understanding of instrumentation processes, technical documentation and safety standards.
• Ability to develop training materials and assess trainee progress.
