Interim Project Manager – Large‑Scale Renewable Energy

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Interim Project Manager to lead delivery of large‑scale renewable energy projects in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on overseeing construction and delivery phases of PV power plants (500MW+) with battery storage integration.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute project delivery strategies, including budgeting, EPC coordination, and HSE compliance.
• Monitor project performance, manage risks, claims, and schedule deviations, and report to senior management.
• Lead stakeholder coordination with EPC contractors, offtakers, and operations teams to ensure smooth hand‑over to O&M.
• Identify cost‑saving and performance‑optimization opportunities across the project portfolio.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of project management experience in the energy sector, including utilities or EPC environments.
• Proven delivery of large‑scale PV projects (500MW+) with BESS exposure.
• Experience managing EPC contractors and IPP relationships during construction.
