Interior Designer – Non‑profit Charity

About the role

Al-Ihsan Charity Association is seeking a creative and detail‑oriented Interior Designer to shape welcoming, functional, and cost‑conscious spaces across its offices, community centers, and charitable facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and plan interior layouts for offices, community centers, and charitable facilities.
• Select materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting that balance aesthetics, durability, and budget.
• Produce 2D drawings, 3D renderings, and mood boards to communicate design concepts.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and procurement to ensure accurate and timely execution.
• Manage multiple small‑to‑medium projects simultaneously, prioritising organisational needs.
• Ensure designs comply with safety, accessibility, and local building regulations.
• Source cost‑effective solutions and negotiate with vendors to maximise a non‑profit budget.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hands‑on interior design experience (mid‑level).
• Strong portfolio showcasing residential, commercial, or institutional projects.
• Genuine interest in contributing to a charitable, community‑focused mission.
• Ability to manage vendors and contractors within tight, mission‑driven budgets.
• Good communication and project coordination skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in SketchUp.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Experience with rendering tools such as Enscape, V‑Ray, or Lumion.
