Intermediate Maintenance ISE MIR – UAE

About the role

The Intermediate Maintenance ISE MIR team provides on‑site support for Patriot missile system maintenance in the United Arab Emirates. Based at the Central Maintenance Facility in Abu Dhabi, the role assists UAE technicians with testing, repair, and troubleshooting of major end items.

Key responsibilities

• Support UAE Intermediate Maintenance Contact Teams in testing, checkout, repair, and maintenance of Patriot major end items.
• Provide assistance for Patriot system float items at the Central Maintenance Facility/Depot.
• Isolate hardware, software, and Battery Replaceable Unit (BRU) problems using diagnostics, self‑checks, BITE and specialized test equipment.
• Deliver on‑the‑job training and informal coaching to UAE CMF Maintenance Technicians.
• Perform fault isolation and electronic repair procedures for complex system issues.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship with an active Secret DoD security clearance.
• Demonstrated experience operating and sustaining Patriot Radar equipment.
• Knowledge of operational and analytical software used on Patriot radar systems.
• Training in troubleshooting procedures for Patriot radar missile systems.

Required skills

• Patriot Radar system operation and maintenance.
• Radar troubleshooting and fault isolation.
• Use of ECS troubleshooting software (Status Monitor, Switch 9, System Exerciser, Radar Action).
• Built‑In Test Equipment (BITE) procedures.
• Electronic repair tools and test equipment.
