Internal Audit Manager – Business Audits

About the role

ADSS is seeking an Internal Audit Manager to lead risk‑based audits across its front‑office, client‑facing and core business activities. The role provides assurance and advisory insights to support sustainable growth, regulatory compliance and positive client outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and document risk‑based internal audits of front‑office trading, sales practices, product governance, marketing initiatives and business support functions.
• Assess design and operating effectiveness of controls related to strategic objectives, revenue generation, client protection and regulatory compliance.
• Perform end‑to‑end business process reviews, identify root causes of control gaps and provide early assurance on new initiatives.
• Prepare high‑quality audit reports, track remediation actions and provide thematic insights on recurring risks.
• Supervise and coach audit associates, allocate work and support professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• 7‑9 years of progressive internal audit, external audit or risk management experience, preferably in financial services.
• At least 2 years in a managerial role leading audit teams and complex engagements.
• Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO) and regulatory expectations such as ADAA and IIA Standards.

Required skills

• Internal audit methodology and risk‑based audit planning.
• Understanding of IT General Controls and IT security requirements in Abu Dhabi.
• Analytical judgement, problem‑solving and ability to translate audit findings into actionable recommendations.
