Internal Audit Manager – Service Industry (Dubai)

About the role

The Internal Audit Manager will lead the internal audit function for a service‑industry organization in Dubai, ensuring robust internal controls, regulatory compliance and proactive risk mitigation across all business units.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a risk‑based annual audit plan tailored to service‑sector complexities.
• Lead comprehensive audit engagements across Marketing, Sales, HR & Admin, IT, Legal, Operations, and Finance.
• Evaluate financial, operational and compliance risks, identify gaps and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Ensure strict compliance with local laws, international regulations and corporate governance standards.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management and the Audit Committee.
• Monitor implementation of audit recommendations to ensure full risk resolution.
• Supervise, mentor and build a high‑performing internal audit team.
• Act as primary liaison with external auditors for seamless reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CIA or CISA (mandatory).
• 7–10 years of experience in internal auditing or risk management, preferably in the Service Industry.
• Proven track record auditing diverse departments (Marketing, Sales, IT, HR, etc.).
• Experience managing audit teams and leading complex engagements.
• Strong ability to maintain independence and stand ground under senior leadership pressure.

Required skills

• CPA, CIA or CISA certification.
• Deep understanding of internal control frameworks such as COSO or COBIT.
• Proficiency with data analytics tools and modern audit methodologies.
