Internal IT Infrastructure Specialist / Engineer

About the role

FDC is seeking an experienced Internal IT Infrastructure Specialist/Engineer to join its on‑site team in Dubai. The role will act as the technical backbone, overseeing network, cloud, security and end‑user support to ensure reliable and secure IT operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and maintain LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, switches and firewalls (Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto).
• Support on‑premise and hybrid server environments using VMware, Hyper‑V and cloud platforms.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Azure AD/Entra ID and related cloud services.
• Implement cybersecurity measures, endpoint protection, backup and disaster‑recovery processes, ensuring compliance with UAE NESA standards.
• Coordinate with telecom providers (e&, Etisalat) and manage vendor relationships.
• Handle hardware and software procurement from UAE‑based suppliers.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for Windows and macOS desktops and manage employee onboarding/offboarding.
• Maintain office technology including AV, VoIP, access‑control and CCTV systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 3–5 + years of hands‑on corporate IT infrastructure experience.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft Azure/M365, Fortinet NSE or ITIL Foundation preferred.
• Strong English communication, problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
