Inventory Analyst

About the role

Analyze technical inventory data, support part availability, prepare dashboards and KPIs, and assist senior analysts with data‑driven inventory recommendations for Etihad Airways.

Key responsibilities

• Extract data and prepare KPI and operational dashboards to monitor supply chain performance.
• Review inventory accuracy and recommend corrective actions to improve ERP data quality.
• Generate inventory level recommendations for consumable and rotable parts.
• Prepare inventory reports and perform variance analysis with finance reports.
• Support senior analyst in developing and implementing inventory holding strategies.
• Prepare and track actual technical spend versus budgeted spend.
• Coordinate with surplus customers to generate optimum revenue from surplus parts sales.
• Assist in developing departmental manuals, ensuring compliance, and supporting audits and ad‑hoc projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or equivalent technical degree.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in supply chain data analytics and inventory management, preferably in aviation.
• Good understanding of aviation ERP inventory and materials management modules, preferably AMOS.
• Strategic and tactical thinking with strong analytical and cost‑management skills.
• Resilient, adaptable to multicultural environments and able to work under pressure.
• Self‑motivated team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
