Inventory Analyst – Aviation Supply Chain

About the role

We are seeking an Inventory Analyst to join Etihad Airways in Abu Dhabi. The role involves analysing technical inventory data, supporting part availability, and delivering data‑driven recommendations to senior analysts.

Key responsibilities

• Extract data and create KPI and operational dashboards to monitor supply‑chain performance.
• Review inventory accuracy, recommend corrective actions, and improve ERP data quality.
• Generate inventory level recommendations for consumable and rotable parts and prepare variance analysis reports.
• Support senior analyst in developing inventory holding strategies and track technical spend versus budget.
• Coordinate surplus part sales, develop process manuals, and assist with audits and ad‑hoc projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in supply‑chain data analytics and inventory management, preferably in the aviation industry.
• Strong analytical mindset, strategic thinking, and ability to work under pressure in multicultural environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Power BI for dashboard creation.
• Oracle SQL (preferred).
• Familiarity with aviation ERP modules such as AMOS.
