Inventory Executive

About the role

The Inventory Executive will lead inventory planning and execution for Apparel Group's retail operations in the UAE, ensuring accurate stock counts and efficient workflow. This role combines team supervision, barcode scanning, and coordination with store and stockroom teams.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate bins, areas and tasks to team members and monitor daily scanning activities.
• Lead and supervise Inventory Control Assistants, briefing them on targets and processes.
• Oversee barcode scanning using PDT/RF devices and ensure accurate bin completion.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, investigate discrepancies and coordinate recounts.
• Track team performance against scanning, accuracy and productivity targets and prepare daily reports.
• Coordinate inventory activities with store managers, stockroom and other relevant teams.
• Ensure proper use of PDT/RF scanning devices and report any technical issues.
• Maintain compliance with SOPs, promote safe handling of merchandise and minimize stock loss.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Retail Management, Logistics or a related field (preferred).
• 2–4 years of experience in inventory control, stock management, warehouse or retail operations.
• Previous experience supervising or leading a team, preferably in large‑scale retail or fashion environments.
• Familiarity with PDT/RF scanners, barcode scanning and inventory management systems is an advantage.
